Studio One (S1) is a lean, experienced studio on a mission to build the most important music game series. A strategic partnership with Amanotes, the top name in music game publishing, guarantees industry-leading support for everything we create.

We’re looking for a Junior Game Developer to join us in creating hybrid-casual and casual mobile music games. You’ll support daily production, help prototype new ideas, and get your hands dirty alongside veteran developers.

• 🎮 Prototype new game ideas — Build small, fast demos to explore concepts and create materials for consulting reports. You’ll work directly with the Studio Director.
• 🛠️ Support core teams — Handle non-critical dev tasks like UI, simple game logic, bug fixing, and data-handling systems.
• 🔍 Join the bigger picture — Spend ~30% of your time helping with market research, user testing, and project coordination. You’ll learn how a studio truly runs.

• 🕹 Aspiring dev with passion — You’ve published games or prototypes (even if the downloads are just from your family).
• 🧠 Self-driven and reliable — You've thrived in remote settings or are confident you can. You take ownership and follow through.
• 🤖 AI-savvy — You’re curious about (or already using) the latest AI tools to boost creativity and speed in game development—from prototyping and animation to content generation.
• 🎵 Music lover — You don’t need to be a pro, but you should be able to play an instrument at a basic level. (We’ll ask in the interview. Karaoke doesn’t count—unless you’re Celine Dion.)
